People also return to businesses that make them feel like family instead of a dollar sign on a bottom line. The Black Market is a challenge to urban business owners in the hospitality industry. It challenges businesses to enrich the lives of its consumers through service that will leave a lasting impression on the way they feel about not only your business, but about your destination. We all have heard the horror stories about “how someone will never return there because they were treated like dirt;” and no one wants it to be his/her business that is referred to. The hospitality industry strikes the delicate balance of wanting national recognition and locally respected. Consumer Loyalty
It is the goal of The Black Market to establish as many certified Black Market establishments in order to create a consumer loyalty program for local residents as well as travelers. Creating a standard that can be found in more than one business is a comfort to consumers who can expect excellent service throughout the area as well as the promotion of The Black Market goal; providing the black hospitality business standard of stellar service throughout the Washington, DC region.
